GP2Util allows disabling Steering help and Opposite lock when playing using the default keyboard settings. Steering lock is also adjustable.
Very handy when you are designing your own track. Now you can first drive the track to see or it's worth going through all the difficulties of making a CC-Line for it.

Armin Krausse date: January 14, 1998
This program patches the new tracks so that they can use their own adverts and not only the adverts of Monza and Jerez.
The patch not only makes the tracks using there own adverts, it also exports reliable values for fuel consumption.
Included is a program called filecomp which could also be interesting for the designers. It makes it possible to save changes of an edited trackfile and patches another one with it. The program is pretty small but its usefull since it is not possible simply to offer the changed
trackfiles.
Note: It will only work with the original, not modified in any way, track files by Instant Access.

|
download 9 Kb
Martin Granberg date: September 28, 1997
This patch makes GP2 compare your split-times (and laptimes) against the driver currently fastest in the session. This means that when crossing a time trap the game checks who is on provisional pole (if in qualifying), then checks what his split-time were at the same point and finally calculates the difference in your times.
Updates:
- V1.1 - Added support for German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and French versions.
- V1.2 - When setting the fastest lap you no longer get the +0.000 message. The word "POLE" is displayed instead.
- V1.21 - Fixed a bug which could cause the game to crash in the race (German version etc.)
