More and more track distributions use jaD files in stead of jaMs. JADs are highly compressable
version of JAMs, so the zips can be really small. However, the JADs need to be converted before
GP2 can use them. I would like to recommend using this little program JAD/JAM Converter
for this purpose. It works really simple, just run the program once in the directory with the
JADs and they all become JAMs.
I would like to ask all trackmakers to use this program as well. It saves both me, and everyone who
downloads the files a lot of time. Typical zips are only 1/4th of the size of the old (jaM) version.

A good street track located in Toronto, Canada. A beautiful track with some difficult corners and a long straight. Every year host the "Molson Indy Toronto" race. This GP2 version are not perfect because have problems with the size of the track file, and I don't fixed the correct scenery, but I improve this part of the Roland's Toronto track. I would like to thanks to Roland Ehnström to make the track and CC Line in 1998. |

The Texas Motor Speedway are a very speedy oval, located next Dallas, in U.S.A. The track have 24 degrees in inclination, but in this GP2 version have a no banking track and a banking track. The circuit are the 3rd fastest oval track in America. A very realistic circuit, this GP2 version are complety beautiful! Now with night races versions! |

Chicago Motor Speedway is an oval track located in Cicero, next to Chicago-IL. The track was opened in 1999 and the owner is Chip Ganassi. Since 1999 the track hosts the Fedex/CART Target Grand Prix. A one mile oval, similar to Milwaukee. |

The circuit of Jacarepagua, in Rio de Janeiro, also has an oval circuit, build in 1995. During 5 years this oval circuit (also know as Emerson Fittipaldi Speedway) has been the place of 5 Fedex/CART races. A different oval, with breaked Turns (Turn 1 and Turn 4). The Fedex/CART three-time champion Rick Mears said in 1996 that Rio's Oval are a "Roval" in allusion to the road circuits. This GP2 circuit is realistic and very beautiful. This is the 1999 version. |

This GP2 circuit has some bugs but is very realistic and beautiful. The older version has some terrible bugs, now this version has the correct pit entrance and pit exit. |

The Euro Motor Speedway, located in Lausitz city (former East Germany), was inaugurated in September-2000, and now in September-2001 is the place of the first Fedex/CART race in Europe. A very fast Oval, as the Pocono Superspeedway, with three Turns. Now I update the older Lauzitsring GP2 track. Now with a more realistic track, better CC Line and better graphics than before. Remodalated in 1996, this track A.K.A. Autodromo Raul Boesel. A track with some fast corners, and a difficult "Esse" section. A long straight. This GP2 circuit are a little bit realistic and very beautiful. This is the 2002 Fedex/CART version. |

An updated, more realistic version of Martijn Keizer and Roland Ehnström's Road America track in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, featuring new fencing, track and pit scenery, bridges, adverts, tarmac, party tents, crowd locations and stands, corner workers, elevation changes, pit entrance and length, camera settings, and track vehicles. I also added some road signs, enlarged several gravel runoffs, modified the CC-line, and reduced the track width from the Kink into Canada Corner. I made changes to reflect some track additions made by Road America this year and to improve some other things from my earlier version. |

Paul Hoads trackeditor is still in Alpha release. For more information about editing your track you should check Pauls GP2 track Edit Project.
The first company to release new tracks for Grand Prix 2 was Instant Access. More info about, and a review on their track Pack as well as a link to a demo can be found on the Instant Access track Pack page. Unfortunatly the Instant Access tracks where not perfect, they contained a few bugs and had little track side objects. On these pages you can find patches to remove the bugs from the Instant Access tracks and add more objects.
