Without any doubt, it's Gabriele Moschetto who provides the most popular tracks. Well done Simon Donald to claim a
spot in this category. Remarkable is that all these tracks are 1999 Formula One tracks.

Still number one (no surprise to me!) is Steven Young with his brilliant GP2Edit. I don't think I'm wrong if I say that this program
is the first GP2 related program every visitor of this site needs.
One of the programs which is not on the site (by request of the author) but which is really popular as well is GP2lap. One of the
most advanced GP2 addons ever and it's getting better with every release. If you don't know it, I really recommend trying it.

Several years Pieter's carsets were the most popular downloads on this site, and while it is still popular there
is some fierce competition now. Juha Viitala claims the top spot, closely followed by the others. If one thing
can be said about the downloads in this section is that the 1999 are the most popular. It looks like you all
really want to have the latest cars as soon as possible! Well done Deivid Gonzalez for getting the only non-F1
carset in the top 10.

CPD cockpits are very popular, and most people appear to be able to play GP2 in SVGA these days. Most dominant in the top 10 are the
cockpits for the top teams Ferrari and McLaren. Eddie Wallis claims the first two positions, where his great 1999 collection tops the
list.

And the winner is ... Kenn Berry, with his Ferrari and Jordan. Updated after allmost every race, Kenn has given us
the most accurate versions of these cars. All the top car downloads come from the 1999 cars page, which has been
one of the most popular pages on the site for the last year (duh!). McLaren seems to be one of the most boring
teams as far as the car livery goes, as they apparently haven't changed much over this season or since last season..
Nice to see that almost 1200 people have donwloaded my personal Tyrrell-027 car as well, though it's not even listed on the
site! Thanks a lot guys!

John Moncrieff is too strong for the competition and is the big winner of this category. His amazing 1999 carshape package
has set the standard. Don't forget that he has also made a huge pack of carshapes from 1950 to 1999, which is also in the
top 10 at number 8. Good to see that there are many different kinds of shapes in this list. Ranging from normal F1 to
CART, Rally and even front-engined carshape. Obviously, most people like to have the two title contenders McLaren/Ferrari in a combined
carshape.
Never tried a carshape? If you want to, pick one of the above. You will need the Carshape Editor to install them.

Close finishes in this combined category. Menu helmets and backgrounds are in the same directory on the site,
and therefor the statistics are combined as well. Alex Shatalov tops the list with his huge collection with
new 1999 pictures for almost all the menu screens. Have a look at the Menu Backgrounds page
for the other parts. Arron Wood and David Schutter procude the most popular sets of menu helmets. Listed is the
latest edition by both guys, and on the Menu Helmets page is the rest.
* Results are based on their collections of work. Have a look at the Menu Backgrounds or
Menu Helmets pages for the other parts of their work.

Often requested and a lot of work to compile, but here they are: your favourite downloads!
These are the top downloads for GrandPrix2.com. These statistics are for the last part of 1999, since the latest server crash when the logfiles were reset.
I have only selected the top 10 in the most popular categories as the total list would be a little much and I don't think many people are interested in knowing which personal cars were only downloaded once (probably by the creator himself!)
These statistics are as-is and probably contain errors. I tried to be very carefull when making these lists, but due to some changes on the server there can be errors.
Also available: The 1998 Statistics.
