In 1992(?) the track was modified and improved by the exciting Sito Pons curve which leads onto a second straight. Unfortunately a silly chicane was introduced and "compromised" the improved layout... (it reduced speed on the approach to Curva Ferrari of course, however motobikes drove without this chicane in 1999!!)
